Every kit is proudly designed, tested, and packed right here in the Waikato—by a real engineer (hi, I’m Alicia 👋) and her trusty laser cutter, Zappity Doo Dah.
They’re brought to life in the Zapp Lab—a laser-filled she shed where sparks fly, ideas grow, and every tiny part has a purpose. It’s a small space with big energy, built for creating clever things that click, whirr, and actually work.
Because brilliant ideas don’t need a big factory—just a laser, some plywood, and a whole lot of passion.

Q: What age are these kits for?
Difficulty is rated with RayGun emoji (of course!) 🔫= 8+, 🔫🔫 = 12+, 🔫🔫🔫 = 15+. Adult supervision = bonus fun.
Q: Do I need tools?
🧴 All necessary tools and consumables are included, minus skittles and colouring supplies. Check each product descriptions.
Q: How long does each kit take?
⏱️ Around 60–90 minutes, depending on the kit, how time spent on decoration—and your snack breaks.
Q: Do you ship outside NZ?
🗺️ Not yet—but we’re working on it.
